american muscle car porn

My name is Kimberly Furman from Fuhrocious automobile, the partner of Fort Wayne, owner of Ft. Wayne automobile dealers.  Do you know a Fuhrocious car?  The meaning it almost blew my sexy bikini!  So now you can call me Kim, I will discuss American fast cars.

In the 1960s there was a class of cars introduced to the world known as muscle cars.  These cars were sleek and sporty and contained a potent engine.  Most of these cars boasted a V8 engine that was geared for pace.  Because these cars were created, the manufacturers were in stiff competition with one another.  As each manufacturer attempted to do the other out, we had been directed into an age of some of the fastest cars of the time.  With no thought to gas and fuel efficiency, Americans seemed to be having the time of their own lives.  Their cars were fast and eye-catching, both on the road and on the race track.  Stripes and gaudy decals made a statement regarding both the automobile and the driver.  It seemed that the flashier the car that the more desired.

In a time when the luxury automobile was the king of the road for the married place, the younger audience wanted something bigger, faster, and sportier.  The Shelby Mustang and the 440 Roadrunner are a couple of the fast cars that were built to satisfy the desire for high speed and performance.  You will find many more fast cars to come.  Camaros, Chargers, GTOs, and Firebirds all attempted to pack as much punch under the hood as was possible.  Corvettes offered style and speed, but also they had a higher price tag.  Most of the other top performance cars offered a price that was affordable to the average working class individuals.

The Fuel Effect

During the 1960s and 70s, automobile manufacturers were riding high on a tide of speed and performance.  Then we entered an age where we had been told gas was in short supply, and we had been destroying the ozone with all our extravagant auto emissions.  We reluctantly give up our fast and sporty cars and took to the roads with a V6 and just a V4.  Gas mileage and lower insurance prices drove the fast cars on the race track and off the roadways.

The desire for speed will probably be with us constantly.  We will probably never again see a time when speed and higher performance motors are sold for the daily street car, but we could find a glimpse of those cars at the raceway or vintage car shows.  The baby boomers were around to see these cars at their inception, and they still carry a torch to them today.  Many will spend a small fortune to restore one of these original fast cars back to their former splendor.
